Wedding Dinner at Empire Hotel

New look for you guys! =)
I've now adjusted the layout back to two column so that I can post bigger pictures =)
Like the new layout?????

What a day!
I have been spending the last 24 hours with my relatives and now I'm back in front of my laptop! XD
I attended a my far far (unrelated)  relative's wedding dinner yesterday at Empire Hotel Subang with my other relatives. Since I don't have any partner, might as well pull Yang Wei to go with me so that he was able to eat 'ho liao' as well =D According to my relative, one table cost around RMXxxx.xx.. Frankly speaking, the wedding dinner was UNWELL prepared.

Anyway, some photos to share before starting my writing.

 Lobby

Can you spot us?

Handsome guy spotted at the hallway =)

My pretty grandma!! Miss her so much!!

When she saw me, she quickly searched for her purse and pull out two notes to me. Gosh, I hate this because every time when I see her, she will sure do this. Every time she will say the same thing " Take this and buy something to eat la". If I reject, she will keep tuck it to me. And say "Take it! Look! Everyone is watching!" I don't mean to take old lady's money you see.. It's not my fault to receive it at all.. I was forced to! >.<

The entrance.

First, I would like to talk about the emcee.. The emcee looked like she's in her mid 20 and immature (has no experience at all).  Have you ever saw an emcee hesitated while speaking or conducting and has no clue at on what she or he was talking  craping about at all? Well, I did. Neither her Cantonese or English is good.. Even wrong grammar was used. =.=lll Gosh.. Make the whole hall swt at what she was talking craping. Furthermore, on this formal occasion, as an emcee, can she wear something that is considered PROPER? A one piece (knee length from Times Square won't make you look professional sayang~. Find some gown next time if there is any chances that there will be other people who is so blind that they would like to hire you as their emcee again??

Second. The food.

four letters one word. F.A.I.L. I put so high expectation on this hotel (because the name was given EMPIRE, make me think that the food would taste EMPIRE as well) but it turned me down real bad. It has been a long time since I last ate stuffs like that.. Trust me, even Pak Li's fried rice is far better than yesterday's. The pomfret looked so savory but it was a cold dish.. Thus destroyed the whole purpose of serving it.

I think that's all about the bad sides. Now the good side.

The atmosphere of the venue was not bad. I like the table setting and the fresh flower on the table.

Here comes the wall that changes colours. Now blue.

Then green.

Purple.
 Yellow.

 Pink.

Red.

Interesting right?

The wedding was accompanied by a live jazz classic music band where there was a pianist, violinist and a guitarist. The performances was definitely awesome. So live, so real, so pleasant. Sadly I didn't bring any camera along, or else I can have a photo with the musician OLEDI. (already)

Had dim sum this morning at Puchong area. Thanks to uncle for treating us =)

Passed through Subang Parade just now and went in just to discover that there is a Japanese food fair.

There are various types of wafers, chocolates and biscuits selling around. But the price aren't cheap at all.. I bought a pack of wasabi green pea! love it! =) One should try to buy the Japanese Curry as well. Worth your money for trying it. It taste just nice on a rainy day =)
Ahh.... Feel so tired now.. I'll end the post here! =) Please comment!
