Nemophilas @ Hitachi Seaside Park

You know that it is spring when the flowers are eagerly blooming everywhere.
Last weekend, my friends and I went to Hitachi Seaside Park (国営ひたち海浜公園) for the well known baby blue-eyes Nemophilas.

#1
Nemophilas are annual flowers with transparent blue petals that are at their best in mid-May. It’s a combination of the two Greek words nemos (small forest) and phileo (love). During the spring, more than 4.5 million nemophilas bloom all over the park.

This blooming period is called “Nemophilia Harmony”  or in roughly translated in Japanese, “the feeling that Heaven and Earth are intermarried”.

Know why it is called "intermarried now?" =)

Besides the Nemophilas, there are many more variety of flowers blossoming throughout the park.
It certainly made me go gaga over each and every one of it because all of them are so dainty and special in their own way with different colours and structures.

I certainly had a good time in the park despite crazy strong wind which made the photo-taking a little bit complicated because the flowers could not stand still. The worst part was the sand which frequently flown into my eyes and hair. Not to mention that my white sneaker turn beige because of the dirt too.

Hope you enjoy reading this and have a good week!=)
