Phew... At last.. At last my JPA interview has over...
What a relief~~ -0-
Now let me begin my story of my interview^^
My interview was held in INTAN Sungai Petani (Opposite IPSAH) on 2nd of April 2009 at 2p.m.
I left my home at 1p.m. and reached there around 1.15p.m
I was so nervous and afraid when I reached there because I didn't see anyone I know there.
Everyone look so unfamiliar and unfriendly...OMG... What am I going to do?? But luckily, a moment later, I saw one of my schoolmate.. She's also applying the same course as me, which is Japan Engineering. After that, we went up to the waiting hall where all of us have to register. I found a seat and sat down but before I could take a sip of water, the people in charge had already called my name!! I was enquired to hand in my clear holder (consists of birth certs, certificates... etc) and take my number.. Which is No 4.
Later on, we were arranged to sit together with the people we will be going in together to the interview room. And one of my friend, Jason Lee were also in the same group as me (and he got No 1).
To my horror, we were the first group to enter the interview room! Wow.. I'm sure everyone right there will be thinking how 'lucky' we were.. haha..I was still unprepared to go in that early!!! But time went on...
Well.. At least we were arranged to enter the third panel room (I heard from my friends that the third panel are humorous and will not simply 'shoot' you so can be relax with them.)
After we were on our seat, the panels introduce themselves and later on ask us to introduce ourselves one by one. (We were told to tell our name, school, number of family members, highest acheivement and the course we choosen).
And here comes the first question.......
Setujukah anda bahawa kemiskinan merupakan sesuatu yang akan menjadi penghalang kepada pelajar untuk melanjutkan pelajaran?
My answer: Saya tidak setuju dengan kenyataan ini kerana keinginan seseorang untuk melanjutkan pelajaran adalah tidak berkaitan dengan masalah wang sebaliknya bergantung kepada dirinya. Sekiranya seseorang itu bertekad untuk melanjutkan pelajaran, maka dia akan mencari jalan penyelesaian dan bukannya menjadikan kemiskinan sebagai alasan untuk meneruskan pelajaran.
Second question...
What inspired you to take up this course? Why you ended up choosing this course?
My answer : I was inspired by one of my cousin who is also taking engineering course in US. He had influenced and told me a lot fantastic facts bout electronic engineering. Since young, I've already show my interest on electronics.. For example, I always unscrew all those electronic robots and cars and put them on together again. Although the cars and robots may be spoilt, but that's still my hobby when I was young. (and that made all the panels laughed~~)
Third question..
Pada pendapat kamu, adakah Program Angkasawan merupakan sesuatu program yang bermanfaat dan berkesan?
My answer : Saya berasa tidak setuju bahawa Program Angkasawan merupakan sesuatu program yang berguna malah saya berasa program ini hanya membazirkan masa dan wang. Ini kerana seperti yang berlaku kepada Syed Mustapha, dia hanyalah seorang angkasawan yang menumpang roket negara lain untuk ke angkasa lepas dan bukannya roket buatan dan hasil negara kita sendiri. Pada pendapat saya, kerajaan Malaysia haruslah menggunakan wang ini untuk menghasilkan engineer yang berkemampuan untuk menghasilkan roket negara kita sendiri yang mempunyai logo bendera Malaysia di badan roket supaya rakyat Malaysia akan berasa betul-betul bangga dengannya. (the panels agreed with me and nod their heads, and some are smilling too)
another question...
Jika itu pendapat kamu, maka apakah jalan yang dapat dilakukan untuk menarik minat pelajar dalam bidang angkasawan?
Luckily I participated in the rocket thingy before.. So..
My answer : Pihak yang berkaitan bolehlah mengadakan aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan roket contohnya pertandingan membuat roket air dengan botol yang pernah saya sertai. Aktiviti ini sememangnya telah berjaya menarik minat ramai orang pelajar untuk menyertainya.
hehe.. That's the end of the interview......Phew.. Lastly, we went to shake hands with the panels before leaving the room..
That's the end of it.. I really hope that I do have a chance to get the scholarship as I really need it.. Or else.. I'm afraid that I will have to go foe Form 6 instead.... Please....... NO............
