I'm back from my one week class trip to Osaka!
EVERYTHING was AWESOME and I couldn't ask for more.
I hope there is another one in the future so that we can fellowship+spend more time together instead of just having lecture or lab work.
I don't know where to start or how to write about this trip into a post because too many things happened, each with different memory and feeling.
All I can say is that I'm glad and blessed to have them (my 4D classmates).
I might not be blogging frequently after this post because my mid-term is in a week time whereas I have not even started any revision.
To compensate with that, I'm posting the 舞妓(maiko) photo here for you guys!
Not a pretty maiko I know but at least you guys can know how a maiko looks like.
You wouldn't believe how heavy are all the hair ornaments and kimono.
I felt the need to have oxygen tank even before the photoshoot.
But luckily I was sturdy enough to handle them for around 2 hours!
I paid 18000¥ (RM700) for the package (4 5R pictures + 1 group photo + CD data + one hour of walking at the nearby street)
It's quite costly but I wouldn't mind to pay that much to get a once in a lifetime experience.
The makeup artists were very friendly and done our makeup quick and clean.
Facilities were great with a wide changing room.
Makeup remover, facial cleanser, moisturiser, hair dryer etc were provided so you do not have to worry about it.
Please do prior reservation to avoid disappointment because they are full house from time to time!
Tell me what you think after you see the photos!
I think that I look older! XD

That's all for this time!
Hope you enjoy the post! =)
Don't forget to visit them if you are in Kyoto!
I went Kyoto last two years but never got the chance to wear kimono. I wore Hanbok in Korea and princess wear in Beijing but never the traditional wear in Japan. Although RM700 is indeed pricey, but like you said, once in a lifetime experience is something we definitely must do.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely cool! Loving picture #4! And is that a guy in the
ReplyDeletemiddle in picture #3 ?! RM700 is a lot, but I guess it's worth it for
