I discovered this place while I was watching Gossip Girl season 6.
This place was mentioned twice by Serena & Blair in different episodes stating about having breakfast there.
Out of curiosity, I googled the place and and jotted it down in my Must-Visit-Restaurant during my future trip to New York. (it's based in NY)
I searched the lists and locations for Sarabeth's Restaurant and was so shocked and delighted at the same time to find out that the very FIRST Asia Sarabeth's is in Tokyo Japan!
Without wasting any time, we visited the place on Christmas Eve and here come this post =)
#1
Sarabeth's from outside
I have no idea how can this place be so popular among the Japanese ( I thought they didn't watch GG?) that we have to be on the 2 hours waiting list.
Most of the visitors are Japanese although I saw some foreigners who got furious knowing that they can't spend their tea-time there.

From the inside
I was glad that the waitress placed us at the corner of the shop so that I can take picture #2.
As you can see from here, the shop is not very spacious, in fact narrow.
The restaurant is full most of the time, not to mention that some visitors have to share table with strangers (yes, it happens in Japan).

Our orders :
#4
Four Flowers (¥600)
Made from 4 types of fruits--Banana, Orange, Pomegranate, Pineapple
I personally like it because it's appetising and most importantly no artificial sweetness added.
#5
Lemon and Ricotta Pancakes (¥1,400)
I thought pancakes are suppose to be slightly sweet but these are out of my expectation.
The pancakes tasted bitter! (most probably because of the lemon)
We had a really hard time finishing 3/5 of it.
verdict : DO NOT try it unless you are an explorer who love something bitter.
And now comes my favorite part =)
#6
Classic Egg Benedict (¥1,400)
This is the most satisfying dish I have that day and I would go back for this!
The egg was soooo big and look soooo juicy until I decided to poke it.
This was my first egg benedict so I cannot tell if this is the best that I've eaten.
Always wanna try those from Plan B, Publika Malaysia but my friends have already gone bored with that dining place so I didn't have a chance to visit there yet when I was in Malaysia.
But this one is truly a bom!!
Check out the picture below.

The yolk is flowing down down down down down...!
Yummy!

Preparing to dig my dish! (please ignore my messy hair)
Hope you enjoy the post! =)

I heard of this before in gossip girl too. but i'm wondering why this pancake tasted bitter, i thought with lemon it will just add a zest of sourish taste.
