As I mentioned in last post, I went to Pulau Ketam today.. And as what I thought, there wasn't any crabs seen on the island besides those on the table which are ready to be serve..XD
The eleven of us started our journey at 8am from Shah Alam by KTM to Pelabuhan Klang (the last station of KTM) and reached there at around 9.30am. Look here for the ferry's timetable. Each ride is around RM7. Quite economical I can say.
This is how the ferry looks like from inside..
The entrance of Pulau Ketam.
Lala 煎
This one is absolutely nice! Both thumbs up!! This stall opens before we reached and the tauke has not rest for a single second.. Tourist kept coming and ordering..
One plate cost RM10 but it's for pax of 4.
I like this so much!! So colouful =)
I think this temple is quite famous here..
yum yum.. Fried ice cream..
Fried prawn cake.. Not only the prawn cake is not nice, the aunty is so stingy as well! She thought we are those cheap people who will take a lot of the lidi (to eat the prawn cake). She said :" 不要拿多多。一人拿一个。拿两个就可以了。有些人不知道拿多多来做什么。" Here's the translation :" Don't take too many of the lidi. One person take one each! Dunno some people take so many for what." And you should see her face.. When she invite us to eat, she seemed so friendly.. But when we decided to buy, she is sooooooo (to max) not friendly at all...
At this small village, bicycle is the main only transport I think..
We had seafood brunch set at a locally well know restaurant. The set consists of
Crabs, Fish, Vegetable, Prawn, Lala, 'Shrimp mushroom meat' (虾菇肉) and Soup
It costs us RM150.
Quite reasonable when you heard the price right? But the quantity is like exactly enough for us.. Not even one extra...
After brunch, we visited part of the village and at last 6 of my friends decided to go back.
But me, Yang Wei, Kar Yee, Bin Wei and Natasha went to visit the fish breeding farm.
RM12 each for a whole package including the Tour Guide.
The fish breeding farm is quite interesting.
It is made up of floats and papan and the position of the big structure is fixed on the sea by anchors ONLY.
We get to see big fishes that is around 1 meter long! I think it weighs more than 50kg..!!
We left the island at around 2pm++ and reached home safely at 3pm++.
Basically Pulau Ketam is a small fishing village without any car.. The road is quite narrow and quite annoying when the bicycle uses the same road as the pedestrian. They will RING you to make way for them.
Some shots of the day =)
Our legs =)
look how thick is the rope..
Me standing on the floating papan..
The photo of us ♥
