Ok.. basically this is how we learn to memorize the connection between the triangle..
As written in our Form 3 text book, we memorize SOH CAH TOA which sounds like 'lock the scissors' in Hokkien..
If you still can't figure out what I mean.. Look at the figure below. (credits to me as I drew those myself)
However.. This is how the Japanese memorize it.. Way simpler~
Sin θ
Cos θ
Tan θ
Do you get what I want to tell?
I mean they used the alphabet to relate it with the triangle. Unlike us who uses SOH CAH TOA.
Haha.. Smart right??
Have you ever came out with this idea before?
*wink*
lol....i still think soh cah toa is easier....u draw the alphabet but how u noe wat is up n wat is down when u divide??? soh cah toa....the letter tat comes first is divided by the letter that comes later.....besides...soh cah toa is easy 2 memorize.....hehe....just kacau here....=b
ReplyDeleteyalo... sensical too.. haha~~
ReplyDeletei don't like this either.. soh cah toa better =)
but japanese is so good in doing math with graphs and i tell u something very unbelievable.. they don't use formulae to do math at all.. that means we can't too! CRAZY!!!
wat u mean dun use formula>?? then how they do>?>
ReplyDeletejust by memorizing.... everything... darn...
ReplyDeletetrigo.. everything..... i dunno how am i going to memorize it till so clearly without mixing all the formulas together.. and no calculator too... that's y they can actually just look at the ques, without thinking twice, they can give u the answer.. =.=lll
