Travelogue : Venetian, Lord Stow's and Galaxy

At last here is my last post on Macau. =)

This is Venetian, one of the not to be missed spot in Macau.

#1
The Venetian Macao  is a luxury hotel and casino resort in Macau owned by the Las Vegas Sands. The Venetian is a 40-story, $2.4 billion anchor for the seven hotels on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000-square-foot Venetian Macao is modelled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas, and is the sixth-largest building in the world by floor area. The Venetian Macao is the largest casino in the world, and the largest single structure hotel building in Asia.

Venetian has a simple exterior but rather amazing artificial sky ceiling which attract tourists to come over just to see it including myself! It is said that the sky painting create the illusion of " 24 hours daylight" to make everyone lose track of time during shopping or gambling.

The Venetian casino claims to have 3400 slot machines and 800 gambling tables!

Photo taken when we were on the escalator. Do you know that photo taking is not allowed in the casino?

The second reason we visit Venetian is none other than Lord Stow's Portuguese tart.
Remember I said that croissant is the national pastry of France besides macaroon? (claim by self) Well, I know what's the national pastry for Macau now! Never in my life I've tasted egg tart this good with flaky shell but soft custard fillings and the best part --- it's not oily at all!

Don't be fooled by the burnt part!

Lord Stow's has been recommended by various trip advisors via blog or forum and I must say that it's priced fairly at 8 MOP/pcs (around RM3.20/ 100¥) regarding the high quality tart that is so well-known. I wish I my stomach has more space for it...

At the evening, we visited the final hotel in our list, Galaxy.
As you can see, Galaxy has an exterior that is far detail and grand compared to Venetian.
Not only that, I personally think that the interior is magnificent too for having different designs for different lobby and waiting area.
